Hven, 1588 – Sophie Brahe pursues a scientific career but must break free from her famous brother Tycho and his all-consuming ego. Over the course of a fateful night at her brother’s decadent lunar-eclipse party, Sophie struggles to choose her own path in the world.

In 1588, Sophie Brahe visits her brother, the renowned astronomer Tycho Brahe, on the island of Hven to attend a decadent gathering and celebration. She is accompanied by her husband, Otte Thott, while her secret flirtation and lover, Erik Lange, is also present. As Tycho seeks to impress the nobility with a lunar eclipse, Sophie fights for scientific recognition. Amid the intrigues of the night, she faces a choice between following her passion and her lover to Germany, or staying with her brother, who depends on her to function. Tycho Brahe’s Sister is a sensual and dramatic tale exploring sibling power dynamics, love, and the struggle to forge one’s own path in the world.
